Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha is better popular under her stage and screen names Gugu Mbatha Raw. Gugu became famous after appearing in the BBC Science Fiction TV show Doctor Who. Handler was blessed with a joyful and healthy life within a thriving neighborhood. In her early twenties, Handler relocated to Los Angeles in order to pursue acting. To help support her family, Handler began to work as an actress. Handler, who was then at the age of 21 was able to concentrate on stand-up comedy full time following her discovery of storytelling. The beginning of her career Handler started her professional career in the Oxygen network's all-female cast of an undiscovered camera/real-life joke show on TV called Girls Behaving Badly. This reality show ran from 2002-2005. Handler started appearing on other TV shows, such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler started working as an associate to The Tonight Show. Handler gained notoriety in 2006 when she hosted her own E! show. The show was titled Chelsea Handler. The Chelsea Handler Show ran for two years. Handler performed on Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour the following time in the United States. The stand-up shows she has performed were telecast on VH1 as well as Comedy Central's Premium Blend as well as HBO. In 2010 it was announced that the MTV Video Music Awards 2010 were made public. Roseanne is the only female ever to host VMAs.
